Colon Cancer Seminar Malta

The Outpatients' Department in conjunction with the Health Promotion Unit, Gozo General Hospital, will be organising a Colon Cancer Seminar on Wednesday the 16th of March.�

The seminar will be held at the Exhibition Hall of the Ministry for Gozo at 6pm and will address the subject of colonoscopy - when to do it, what to expect and what is the patient's perspective of the procedure.�

The powerpoint presentation will be in English, the details will be delivered in Maltese by the speakers. However, interventions from the audience in English will be more than welcome.

The Seminar will address the following:�

- when is a colonoscopy required? Dr R. Sciberras Cons. Physician�

- what shall I expect from a colonoscopy? Dr V. Curmi Cons. Physician�

- what is the patients' perspective of a colonoscopy? J. Garzia Practice Nurse�
