europacolon Community

Over the past five years europacolon has been committed to developing Europe's first colorectal cancer advocacy groups. Currently Affiliate groups have been set up in Portugal, Spain, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Bosnia and Belgium/Luxembourg with Associate Groups in the UK, Finland, Serbia, Austria, France, Greece, Cyprus and Macedonia. Work is currently progressing in Italy, Georgia, Holland, Germany and the Czech Rebublic.  In 2010 europacolon hopes to set up 10 more Affiliate/Associate Groups.

europacolon's Affiliate and Associate groups influence health policy, exchange and support of best practice, raised awareness and ultimately improvement of standards in the delivery of care and treatment.

We are proud of the progress europacolon's Affiliate and Associate groups have made during this time with patient meetings, media activity, political partnerships and gaining clinical support - galvanizing a colorectal cancer community both locally and across Europe.
